Joanna's path to yoga began with the practice of asana as a sister companion to her full-time investment in dance.
She noticed a subtle shift starting to occur when she was choosing to spend more time on her mat. She began to explore creative expression through her asana practice.
Joanna teaches inclusive, thoughtful and inspiring classes and lectures that connect your mind, body and spirit. She cultivates a space for grounding and a sense of balance in the body through the concept of Sthira and Sukha, strength and ease.

Mark always loved to move his body and was obsessed with gymnastics as a child. He was always intrigued by the shapes he was able to find with practice and discipline.
After a little searching, he found himself in a yoga class and couldn’t believe how incredible it felt to reconnect with his body. It took a year of regular classes before he knew he wanted to dive deeper into understanding yoga and embarked upon his first yoga teacher training.
Now, many years later, he shares his passion by teaching new yoga teachers and offering online classes.
He also brings his formal education in classical music to his teaching and is our official "chant master".

Angela describes herself as equal parts philosopher, artist and teacher. But above all, a student; a student of life.
As an ayurvedic practitioner, registered massage therapist, yoga teacher, curriculum developer and a writer, Angela brings a wealth of wisdom and knowledge to her classes. Angela encourages students to contemplate and inquire as they mindfully move their bodies.

This curriculum is designed to support both your growth as a practitioner and your ability to hold space for others with clarity and care.

This course was incredible!
I loved the set up and the fact that I could go back whenever I wanted to complete sections of the course was perfect for me. It allowed me to spread it out over the course of a year without added pressure.
